Dakota Athletic Department Fundraiser The Dakota Athletic Department is holding a “Mattress Fundraiser” on May 1, 2010. The Athletic Department is seeking to raise money to offset the cost of the Muskegon trip for Cheer and Football Athletes. Plan to buy your mattresses on May 1 at Dakota!!! ______________________________________________________________ This week is the Regional Championship at Dakota. We need everyone to pitch in to help run this event. If you are helping with setup on Friday night at 6pm I will weigh your wrestlers in, so you do not need to take them to Chippewa Valley to weigh in. ______________________________________________________________ Last Tournament
Sunday. A few of our wrestlers stayed close to home at East Detroit. Due to being busy setting up regionals, I have not been able to review the results. ______________________________________________________________ Thanks, Greg Day and Dom DeRita
attended our second group practice on Wednesday 12/23 and instructed the boys on the Augsberg Cradle series. They did an outstanding job and the club kids and coaches learned some technique that is a staple for the high school team. New Website for High School Team The club has designed a new website for the High School Wrestling Team. The link is located on the left side of this page. Use it to stay up to date on how our high school wrestlers at Dakota are doing. If you look at their schedule they open the season at Chippewa Valley on December 3rd. I would like to get as many kids as possible from the club to attend wearing their Dakota gear. |
